SCHOOL PERFORMANCES
April 28 - May 12, 2017
Rapunzel is a sunny child. Her mother’s garden is her playground. Her mother’s servants her playmates—and curious playmates they are, with curious names like Singer, Scholar, Lover, and Fool. These four are Rapunzel’s true friends and constant companions as her happy younger years fly by. Birthday after birthday, gift after gift, anything her heart desires is hers for the asking—until the day she dares to ask for freedom. On that day, the woman who Rapunzel knows as “Mother” reveals herself to be Gothel the witch and locks the young lady away in a tower. But even caged, a bird can sing. Enjoy this heart-swelling musical as Rapunzel of the enchanted tresses discovers the song that will teach her to fly.
